Zulu Principle out until autumnOur Irish and English Derby entrant Zulu Principle (Tiger Hill ex Tu Eres Mi Amore) will not run before next autumn.
The colt’s trainer Dermot Weld reports that the horse has suffered a set back which will keep him out of action for the next 3 – 4 months. It is hoped that the colt, which has shown considerable promise, will return to training in the autumn, and will be kept in training as a 4 year old.
Vitruvian Man to resume racing
The John Oxx trained Vitruvian Man (Montjeu ex Portrait of a Lady) is back in full training, having missed last season, and will run at the Curragh in either the Alleged Stakes or the Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes.
Jaffonien out until Galway
The Arthur Moore trained Jaffonien has had a wind operation, and will be out of action until the Galway festival in July.
Sebastian Flyte
Perle O’Rourke’s Irish 2000 Guineas hopeful Sebastian Flyte has wintered well, and is on-course to run in the Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trail on Sunday 28th March.
Trainer Frank Ennis says that the horse will be forward enough to give a good account of himself.
